Rick Gaber Quote

“A moderate is either someone who has no moral code of his own, or if he does, then he's someone who doesn't have the guts to take sides between good and evil.”

Patrick Henry, Red Hill

For anyone to be immoderately indecisive and without convictions is for him to be a moderate, characteristically.

jim k, Austin

Political moderates almost always land on the side of liberals. You can never trust a moderate. They can fall on either side of the fence.

I would thou wert cold or hot.

Extreme political divisiveness is evil. Well done, you!

Mike, NORWALK

Jack, I think I can understand your stance. Are liberty, freedom, inalienable rights, natural law, and justice evil when politically divisive to the occupying statist theocracy now infesting this land?

Mick, Manchester

Utter bollocks. Think circle not straight line. Extreme views are moderated by reasoned arguments.

Maybe, could be on occassion? ? ? not as a rule

E Archer, NYC

A little general but the sentiment is right on. Who is the one calling something 'extreme'? It is only extreme in relation to something else. Who refers to someone as a 'right-wing extremist'? Someone who considers himself extremely to the left of the right-winger. I find it funny that leftists consider themselves moderates! There are some principles for which I will not compromise -- it's called taking a stand. It has a price. Those that constantly cry about not having enough (or others having more) want me to stand for them -- and I may choose to do so. But to compel me to give up my stand without choice is essentially declaring war. Is there not one principle you could never compromise on? Have you any promises that you will keep? Moderate my ass!
