The Rockefellers are no friends of liberty.

I suspect that after we get this wonderful "New World Order" we will wish we had the Old one back.

John D. is definitely NOT one of my heroes. He was all against the income tax until he figured out this foundation scheme which also gave him a huge edge over his business competitor's. The Rockefeller Foundation is also a big supporter of left wing causes.

UNnecessary and UNamerican.

I'm for sending the UN to N. Korea and NOT sending anymore money to this communist infested organization.

"The urge to save humanity is almost always a false face for the urge to rule it'. H.L, Mencken

This quote has Carl Marx written all over it.

Sums it up in eight words.

The first two sentences of this quote are very telling. Just look at Washington today for proof.

We could sure use another Thomas Jefferson now, but all I see in Washington is a bunch of political hacks of which most should be in jail.

Tyranny is when the local SWAT team can break down your door, tie you up, and search your home all because some neighbor down the street said you were a dealer in drugs. Or when the cops stop you and find out you have 800 or 900 dollars in cash and steal your car on the pretence that you got the money selling drugs. Another fine example is forcing you to fill out a 1040 confession sheet and then stealing your money every April 15th.

Here's what H.L. Mencken said about elections."Elections are sort of an advance auction of stolen goods".

The current "Dictator in Chief" isn't bothered with trivials like the first First Amendment or any of the other parts of the Constitution. After all, the King of the World can do what he pleases by Excutive Order.

Lincoln's war of Northern aggression, called the "Civil War",went a long way in centralizing power in Washington and it's been getting worse ever since.

The "masses" always jump on the bandwagon when they see which way the wind is blowing. And please , Daniel, if you are going to spew bilge like that above, could you be a little less verbose.

Dick, maybe I gave the wrong impression but I agreed with Darrow in the Scopes trial.

I interpret this to mean that the one thing we can control is our own attitudes. Whether we will be "happy" or not is up to us, not the government.Too many people seem to think that electing a certain person will improve their lives and it seldom does. Many of the suckers that got all happy when they heard the Dictator in Chief spew that Hope and Change bilge are not so happy now.We have the right to persue happiness but it's up to us whether we find it or not.

J and cal, right again.

jim k, Austin, Tx

J Carlton and Cal said well. Check out the old movie "Inherit the Wind" with Spencer Tracy playing Clarence Darrow.

If I had young children, I sure wouldn't want them reading Cosmo or any of the trash in the grocery checkout line. However, I have little use for busybody groups like "The Womens Christian Temperance Union" who worked so hard to give us prohibition in 1920.

It's just a short step from here to book burning, seig heil.

Those Washington Nannies are very busy these days" protecting" us from us." What with light bulbs, toilets, transfats, electric cars, smoking, drug wars, and a thousand other things that bother them, they must not get much sleep at night.

Our elected officials inside the beltway do not represent the people of this country and haven't for years. Don't expect it to change much after the next election.
