Reply Anonymous 4/29/11 re: James Bovard quote We should have contempt for tax cheats. They should all be burned at the stake. Tax cheats are no different than people who steals stuff from stores during a hurricane or other disaster. 2 Reply Anonymous 4/29/11 re: Joan Beck quote And soon it will nearly be impossible to leave the USA - they are already making difficult for new passport ownership............ It's amazing, you think you are free - that's exactly what they want you to think - you have just bought into their game hook line and sinker.... Reply Anonymous 4/26/11 re: Ayn Rand quote A bit black and white but still a good quote - as for Liberty and Freedom, it is an illusion, and if not, heavily subjective. Reply Anonymous 4/25/11 re: Edward Zehr quote Well said 3 Reply Anonymous 4/25/11 re: Edward Zehr quote While we watch the games on TV and our living rooms, shop at the malls, listen to Faux News, sip our designer coffees, murder millions abroad in the name of profit, oops, I meant freedom and democracy, our very demise is occurring around us. Reagan, the Bush's and Obama are not leaders, they were installed by the corporate and wealthy elite and they manipulate you to think that we live in a free democracy. Even the dumbed down electorate has no say in the matter - ah, but let them think they do............... Reply Anonymous 4/21/11 re: Dr. Ron Paul quote I love facts...... Reply Anonymous 4/21/11 re: David Frum quote We should put men who are in prison because of rape and abuse in the same prison as women and those who have killed on a desert island with lions. As Reston said, most in prison shouldn't be there - it's a business that needs feeding. Take out any religious content and other fundamental belief systems - it would be paramount to have an educational system that reflected the holistic approach which included ethics and other liberal arts. Teachers would be responsible for grading their own pupils. Teachers are educated most parent's are not... 1Reply Anonymous 4/14/11 re: Josef Stalin quote Spearfish, well said! It seems that the above comments are in monochrome. It's funny how similar this is to the educational system that Plato and his mentor were planning for the new city. 2 Reply Anonymous 4/9/11 re: U.S. Supreme Court quote Why not audit the Federal Reserve, which is an un-Constitutional, privately-owned, central bank and then "nationalize" it to the fiduciary federal responsibility of the US Treasury Department? Reply Anonymous 4/7/11 re: Abraham Lincoln quote This statement is true if government today makes smooth ground for students. 1 Reply Anonymous 4/6/11 re: Dr. Samuel Johnson quote To ignite the flame of curiosity and to engage the mind in it's depth, is to acknowledge the path of true learning and the way to freedom of mind and body. 1Reply Anonymous 4/6/11 re: Hendrik van Loon quote There's obviously an abundant supply on this blog.... 1Reply Anonymous 4/5/11 re: Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. quote Three stars as he missed out the word "one" being of a religious background was probably the reason, for it has always been the reason of the church and we all know how wonderfully moral the church is...... I know many single family parents and they are by far more meaningfully family than most two parent families - it's the quality of the family regardless of numbers, sex, creed, or ethnicity - why are you all so blind to this simple fact?. Reply Anonymous 4/5/11 re: Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. quote If we become learned and intellectual who will they have to fight their wars - also, unemployment is good for the military - the more we are dumbed down the more fodder they have for their corporate masters. Reply Anonymous 4/5/11 re: Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. quote The more we become literate the more they become illiterate - and that my dear friends is the whole story. Reply Anonymous 4/3/11 re: Benjamin Franklin quote Mike. I think you may have misconstrued BJ - I believe this was meant to be negative on both counts... Reply Anonymous 4/2/11 re: Dr. Joseph Mengele quote Mengele, believed that there were ways to connect twins by sewing their hands and arms together. That, in no way. is ok. But he wasnt the only one who completely destroyed the Jewish, Gypsy, or homosexuals. Now we know what prejudging people and tolerance can do to the world, lets not do it. And I don't know if you people realize it but when you say things like " thats so Jewish " or " thats so gay ", that is extremely racist. 11Reply Anonymous 4/2/11 re: Abraham Lincoln quote For a man trying to abolish slavery I think this quote is very contradicting and it shows how he really didn't want blacks to be equal but just for them to not be slaves. 3 Reply Anonymous 3/29/11 re: L.
