There is a solution: impeach!

It is far past time for Congress to do their constitutional duties... Impeach!

The facist right has gone and don it again, reframed the arguments (see comments above) such that few even understand what the terms really mean. We are much closer to their facist goals than to any socialist goals, and what serves as a left today is really more of a moderate middle ground than having any hint of socialism.

Well said Waffler. In a time when you bought your food directly from the person who grew/raised it you could know if it is safe or not. That day, sadly, is long gone. Thus you need a proxy to keep their eyes open to these issues for you. That proxy can not be the business that wants to buy crap and sell it to you as gold, rather it can and should be your representative in society: government. The same argument applies to all of the other areas Cavuto whines about.

I enjoy a good pint now and again, but it is hardly "living proof" of anything.

It is amazing to me how some of the posters here can turn what is a powerful message of hope and thought for the needs of society into a hate statement against those of society who are less lucky than others and need society's support. It is doublely bizzare that one of these attacks against liberal US polititians comes from what appears to be a resident of Canada who is telling people (not clear of which country) to move to France... that is a logic only one of the ilk of King George W or his jestors could come up with... at least we agree on the quality of the quote, though it is fairly clear that the other poster must not really get the full meaning of what it says...

Sadly, those who worship war and those who pray for Armageddon also know this truth...

While many aspects of our lives today fail this test, it appears to me that the better institutions (such as Yale) are passing it with flying colors... let us not forget that Yale has been a part of the education of both Clintons and Bush, as well as many other leaders, often with very different views, goals and policies.

I agree with the sentiment, but disagree that education should make choices clear... rather it should make the process of choice clear and give you the tools to make that choice, be it clear or not so clear...

TJ would be so saddened by where the GOP and radical right are attempting to take this country... no, not so much saddened, as enraged into action! Impeach!

And yet, those with a true mind of their own will learn under public education systems... but rarely under these other systems. Just because the weak minded fail under all of these systems, does not mean that the system that does teach questioning is a failure.

All good indication that we must impeach (the Dick first, then the Bush).
