It is TO the REPUBLIC...the Globalists need to be thrown into the sea. Just as other tyrants were forced into the sea in 1776. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 2/17/11 re: Reverend Edmund Opitz quote I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States and to the Republic for which it stands...Screw the Globalists. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 2/17/11 re: Morgan Reynolds quote Cooperate with Criminals....you have GOT to be kidding! How about we just drop them in their tracks? Wouldn't that clean up the crime rate in record time? 3 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 2/17/11 re: Harry Browne quote Income tax is a fraud. The money taken from peoples pay checks goes NOT to pay for infrastructure, but to service the "interest" and only the interest on the huge debt created when the government freely borrows money created out of thin aire from the privately owned Federal Reserve, which is not Federal and has no Reserves. It's the greatest fraud in history. 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 2/17/11 re: Harry Browne quote Reston you have no clue what Libertarianism is let alone what the American Republic is supposed to be. But that's because you are a communist and don't want to know. 4 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 2/16/11 re: Jacob G. Hornberger quote What makes it stupid RBE? It points out that communism is disguised (poorly) as Liberalism? Hit a nerve? :) 3 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 2/16/11 re: Jacob G. Hornberger quote Popeye...the editors quote from Hornberger is an absolute fact! Thing is one must be capable of critical thinking and historical analysis to see it. Maybe you're not. And Hoover's statement is also an absolute fact, regardless of your "personal opinions". Reply J Carlton, Calgary 2/16/11 re: Karl Borden quote The present Social Security scheme is just another part of the over all Ponzi / Pyramid scheme designed to fleece the American people. It is not flawed though, in fact it's working exactly as intended. 2 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 2/16/11 re: Jacob G. Hornberger quote The (financial / social) Third Reich is now being advanced by the White House and has been for some time. 4 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 2/16/11 re: Jacob G. Hornberger quote We must now face the harsh truth that the objectives of communism are being steadily advanced because many of us do not recognize the means used to advance them. ... The individual is handicapped by coming face to face with a Conspiracy so monstrous (Reston) he cannot believe it exists. The American mind simply has not come to a realization of the evil which has been introduced into our midst. ~ J. Edgar Hoover 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 2/16/11 re: Thomas Jefferson quote Capital must protect itself in every way... Debts must be collected and loans and mortgages foreclosed as soon as possible. When through a process of law the common people have lost their homes, they will be more tractable and more easily governed by the strong arm of the law applied by the central power of leading financiers. People without homes will not quarrel with their leaders. This is well known among our principle men now engaged in forming an imperialism of capitalism to govern the world. By dividing the people we can get them to expend their energies in fighting over questions of no importance to us except as teachers of the common herd. ~ J. P. Morgan Reply J Carlton, Calgary 2/15/11 re: Estienne de la Boétie quote I'm thinking this particular French Judge had a lot of difficulty expressing himself. I don't berlieve there is one sentence in this quote that is pertinent or actually makes any sense at all. Morphine addict maybe? Reply J Carlton, Calgary 2/15/11 re: Francois Pierre Guizot quote He must have been talking about a "Communist" revolution. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 2/15/11 re: Frank Hague quote Frank Hague was one twisted unit. This quote is the opposite of what Americanism means. 3 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 2/13/11 re: Milton Friedman quote The only true capitalists in our overly regulated society are the Government themselves and their Corporate pals. Free enterprise isn't free when it's regulated and we haven't had a free market or real capitalism since Alexander Hamilton commissioned the first "Central Bank" along with his Corporate cronies. What we have had is nothing short of absolute corruption in the halls of the White House and Corporate Board Rooms...End the Fed! Reply J Carlton, Calgary 2/13/11 re: Confucius quote There's RBE with the "Liberal Mantra" of compassion for his fellow man...that Liberals intend to fund with stolen money. In order to better one's own life, one MUST contribute something to society and we don't need the Liberals of the world telling us how, when or where to do so. They seem to operate on the premise that people are bad and must be FORCED to do good, while I maintain that people are generally compassionate without FORCE. Redistribution of wealth (taxation) is a communist tool and "Fair" is a concept of Communists and Children. 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 2/11/11 re: Milton Friedman quote "I work for a government I despise to ends I think evil" ~ John Maynard Keynes 1 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 2/11/11 re: Alan Greenspan quote No Mike, they just don't really get what the quote is saying or that it is absolute truth. 5 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 2/11/11 re: Alan Greenspan quote I Love that an avowed statist (Reston) calls into question my ability to analyse the effect of regulkating the so called "free market". And that george thinks without regulations we get bubbles. What bthey both miss is that A: We've "never" had a free market. We've "always" had economic fascism aka. Corporatism condoned and promoted by Government. And B: The very system that regulates the "free market" creates the bubbles with the manipulation of the currency and its value as well as implementing a "demand" economy over an actual "free" market. That kind of thinking is the result of a life time of public indoctrination and media misinformation. And it leads to the complete inability to think "critically" and call into question the staus quo. Have a good one folks. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 2/11/11 re: Confucius quote Sort of the dead opposite of tax and spend policies as we know them. Borrow freely from the central bank, spend on all kinds of stupid wasteful programs that produce nothing andf then wonder why the currency is devalued and we are all poorer for it....hmmm at this rate we're inevitably going to implode. Maybe a few less bail outs and a little more responsibilty would be the cure? Nawwww Big Brother will bail us out! We're "too big to fail". 3 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 2/11/11 re: Milton Friedman quote Friedman is one of my favorites because he is anything BUT Politically Correct. He tells it like it is...Multiculturalism is one aspect of our society which has been perverted to promote "special" rights for "special" people. When in fact all rights should apply to all people equally in a system of justice. 6 Reply J Carlton, Calgary 2/11/11 re: Alan Greenspan quote This is so obvious a truth that it tells greatly of Greenspan's dupilicity. On one hand he is aware of, and capable of telling the truth. On the other, his integrity and honesty were obviously for sale as Chairman of the "Privately" owned, UnConstitutional and power seeking Federal Reserve, which is not Federal and has no Reserves. Thumbs down to Greenspan and the Fed, 5 stars for the quote at face value. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 2/10/11 re: Charles Dickens quote Mike, I think Hanson is referring to the "Neo-Con" movement. Which to people like us would probably be as vile as the "Progressive" movement...which when you boil it down...are the same movement. Reply J Carlton, Calgary 2/10/11 re: Charles Dickens quote L Hanson: PS - Perhaps you are under the impression that I am a Conservative. Not really...I am a Libertarian. And Libertarians are reviled by both the left and the right because we advocate smaller, less intrusive and responsible government. They ALL hate that! LOL Reply J Carlton, Calgary 2/10/11 re: Charles Dickens quote L Hanson, I would be all for open borders in a society that treats liberty and freedom with respect and harbors a system of Justice. But that isn't what is happening. What we are seeing is yet another step towards a "Global Government" that has control of absolutely everything as its end goal. The notion that it's being brought about (in Canada) by a Conservative government is irrelevant in that all administrations have had their part in it. This I can not abide.
