I was just saying the same thing to my family the other day (though, not quite as eloquently) I am perplexed by all of the people in such a celebratory mood about the upcoming inauguration when they never cared about any previous inaugarations. They will be just as discontent in 4 years as they have been with previous administrations.

Everyone brings their personal beliefs into the realm, be it education, politics, etc. Why should the government's 'intolerance' take precedence over the parent's 'intolerance'?

It's the duty of the parents to teach responsibility of toward the community. This type of thinking is why there is such a moral decline in this country. I don't want someone on the government payroll teaching my children his/her version of "responsibilty"!

Dewey was a Marxist of the highest degree. I read a biography on him and he admired Stalin, of all people. Considering that little fact, and the condition of our public schools thanks to Dewey's influence, this statement does not surprise me at all.

Michelle is absolutely correct, "The family is the most fundamental FOUNDATION of society..." and when families decide for themselves how to educate their children, these grow up to be the BEST citizens for that socieity. Parent's want what's best for their children, and know how to impart wisdom and concern for others into their education.

Such a true statement. Our country is moving at rocket speed into slavery and most are too enslaved to see it.

I agree with the earlier statement about indoctrination. American public schools indoctrinate instead of educate.
