Waffler, Smith

Not real clear. But if he is idolizing republicanism because it is power to the people, government of, by, and for the people, wisdom has shown that in the long term it is the enemy of ignorance. In the short term a republic and its people can do ignorant things. Over the long term it is the wisest course.

Justin, Elkland

Waffler, he means that in a democracy, the ignorant rule and in a meritocracy (republic) the most intelligent rule in spite of the ignorant.

Our country was originally a Republic as set out by our founding fathers but has degenerated into a democracy. This may be the essence of this quote, maybe not.

(Republican)ism as used in Article IV Section 4 of the Constitution is accompanied by the term guarantee (the only time the word or concept appears in the Constitution). Republicanism is explained as a government of law, specifically the law of nature and of Nature's God (a very time specific meaning and understanding) as is averse to a government of men (only God can make law, man can not - man is only capable of creating codes, ordinances, regulations, rules, statutes, etc. in harmony with such law or at tyranny) Further, such Republicanism recognized each individual as a noble heir of the King of the Universe, a Sovereign with unalienable rights, equal with all other Sovereigns before the law. Concepts such as compelled compliance, license, victimless crimes, larceny with impunity, a third party (anybody, anything) that has more ability, authority, power, or rights beyond the individual Sovereign were known to be antagonistic to freedom and liberty and were known to be unlawful. There is only antagonistic tyranny and despotism against the noble liberty and freedom of the here quote's Republicanism when ignorance replaces knowledge.

Ignorance is in antagonism with everything except chaos. Has anyone noticed how chaotic things seem lately?

Justin and Mike have hit the nail on the head. Ken, things begin to scramble as oppression increases through the decress of avalability of lively hood of life. When you look at things from street level, there will be more bodies in and along street side of a generation now at 65 to 80. pulling down the traped 20 to 30 yr olds. Who are becoming more aggressive. Thrown in jail for sleeping in what they saw as a safe place. The tent camps springing up around the cities. large. To rescue these people and educate them, for there masses are growing. We have always been a nation of rescue. Right now the socialist are rescuing who they like, and the republicans are doing the same. But we need much more from the true republican freedom fighters in all ranks to catch and educate with hope these people. Natures God provides us with the rock to stand on and the tools he supplies us with, which are shone to all openly, man is ignorant of because of advantage of the masses in denominational religion withholding knowledge from the people. The truth will (make) you free. KJ.

Mike as always is on his off base tantrum. The republican government in the Constitution is a government of, by and for the people. No aristocracy, no meritocracy, no nobility. Never has been and never will be. As far as ignorance goes yes we have our share in the Senate and House, always have and always will. This is what republican government is US the people in all of our ignorance and bliss. The meritocracies have all done much worse. The Nazi's being the prime example, they were the good, moral upstanding people, go figure.

Waffler, I know you think man can make law so try and get some legislators to rescind gravity and mandate walking 2 to 5 feet above the ground. Or, how about out-lawing bankruptcy and see how man's fiscal law returns a job to every individual with a chicken in every pot. Waffler, you prove my point with your prideful ignorance again. A government of, by and for people is a government of law, not a government of an organic hegemony that compels compliance, issues licenses - not recognizing any unalienable rights, creates victimless crimes, and steals from everyone for no less than the privilege of staying out of jail. I have shown the court cases that state the government has inherent right aloof from 'We The People'; multiple cases that state no policing agency, authority or presents has any responsibility, relationship or liability to 'We The People'. The statist theocracy that now infests this land is not of, by or for the once sovereign We The People. As Steve Wynn moves his business to China ("Macau has been steady. The shocking, unexpected government is the one in Washington." Steve Wynn) along with 24 multinational companies, that have decided to move their regional headquarters to Shanghai, including 6 Fortune 500 companies such as Vale, Walt Disney and Kraft Foods. ( http://english.cntv.cn/program/bizasia/20100715/101006.shtml ) The issue is not wages but rather, unconstitutional regulation, funny money, unlawful policies antagonistic banking and business in general and an immoral statist theocracy that is doing everything it can to promote ignorance and kill the freedom, liberty, law, justice, equity, unalienable rights, and all else that true knowledge brings.

Once again, Waffler, the poster-boy of ignorance, proves the point. Thanks, Waffler, you could not have helped more to demonstrate the truth of the quote.

Fredrick William Sillik, Anytown

Since our publicly elected official demonstrate very little effectiveness, and are nothing much more than "media darlings" I would say that republicanism and ignorance are quite intimately conjoined. Socialism is the idea we use our social abilities to create.

;-), ;-), ;-) OKAY ;-), ;-), ;-) Sillik, what do you attribute your mindless, meaningless and non-sensical word salad to? Is there a reason you can't (won't) give a straight forward answer to a very logical and straight forward question? What did you not understand concerning my previous question? You regularly redefine words to be non-recognizable to normal society. Please be specific (not general or illusive / do not make up baseless ad hominems), in answering what is that “one word”? What "WORD" would you use to describe the “effective” - situational system that describes corporeal man’s specific organizational arrangement resulting in destruction, enslavement, poverty and pain - that is: any of various economic, political and religious endeavors, advocating and implementing a collective, of the masses or government’s ultimate property ownership with a consummate control over the means of goods production and distribution?

Again, because your non-sensical word salads that are replete with non-correlation - re-defined imbecilic oxymorons, as are here expressed, please give us your definition of “republicanism” or a “republican form of government” (Article IV, Section 4 U.S.Constitution). From the originating jurisprudence (as evidenced by the Declaration of Independence - the laws of nature and of nature’s God) within the de jure States united, “republicanism” was/is that absolute(s) (science, math, life, liberty, property) at which man man may administer ORDER, securing individual sovereignty, inalienable rights, liberty, justice, peace and prosperity (individually and in concert).
