This should be a motto for America. From its beginnings much of Europe was waiting for it to fail, Britain slammed it in 1812, civil war almost destroyed it, need I go on? But here we stand with the world beating a path to us. Why don't they make their own countries decent places to live and prosper and leave us alone?

There is hope for what may appear to be impossible.

They were told it couldn't be done. So they knuckled down and buckled down and found out they couldn't do it.

(-: Who are "they"? :-) Was it "they" who said implementation of socialism in a dummied down nation of liberty with a constitution couldn't be done? Was it "they" who said financing poverty, hatred, anger, and social enslavement couldn't be done to make such grow? hmmm

Casey and Yogi were masters of the malaprop. This one is a good example. Yogi once said about a restaurant, that nobody goes there because it's too crowded. I guess that's just water over the bridge.
