Nice thought but WRONG ! ! ! Now that Amerika is no longer a nation of law (s) (vs. the once upon a time U.S.A. being a nation of natural law) and, the Supreme Court is in full swing mode legislating freedom, liberty, and individual sovereign rights out of existence, the statement couldn't be further from the truth.

It was true in the late 19th century, but after FDR, the courts took on new powers. Do you know that you cannot even refer to cases prior to 1934 in a court case? The common law and commercial law jurisdictions were merged, thus turning corporations into 'persons' and people into corporations. Nationalist socialism (fascism) has been the form of government in the US ever since.
