We've all heard about that sweet old grandma who has never said an unkind word about anyone. If that is true, how on earth could you discuss Hitler, or for that matter, Jimmy Carter?

Or Richard Nixon, or George Bush?

and he who is honest cannot help but offend. ergo I must be a very honest person because I am very offensive.

Love it man- but if you are offensive that does not necessarily imply that you are honest. That statement is unlogical and doesn't follow.

Some people try to offend, and when you take offense they get upset!

Jimmy Carter's is a good guy but I don't know about his Grandmother. He who offends with kindness stays in the game.

It would seem then that the purpose of 'political correctness' is to lie nicely.
