From a Socialist perspective it is a very interesting quote. The part of the quote where it infers that the system operates in fashion that the human being is evaluated by wealth and property instead of responsibility and performance is very evident of sensitivity and intelligence.

Democracy is quite redeeming when self-awareness is revealed.  In the vision of of the rule of the people you must simply have people.  The vast populous cannot claim people status simply because they have not earned  this highly qualified station.

The struggle of life is not measured from top to bottom. You may hold the meager position of Social Security recipient, and if you have the answers you are the forward force. While the president of the United States takes us back to the stone age the Social Security recipient takes us to the destiny of social responsibility.

Sorry D.H. followers but I've mentioned in the past that the truly free are those who understand the true conceptualizations and components of freedom and I would have to add, with this quote's considerations,  these individuals would be quite conscious of the process.

I have just gathered information on a scheduled execution of an individual named Clarence Dixon for May, 2022 in Arizona. As a responsible American citizen I must demand that state's executors immediately halt this action and permanently commute this individual's status.We humans have learned a life for a life makes the whole world dead.

History is the history of consumer versus producer. The consumer typical has a product to sell but at great cost.  In the end the typical consumer causes greater destruction in delivering their product then any benefit for the social structure.
