I wonder if his reference to the "semi-occult" was directed towards Zionists. Certainly though, our government is no longer ours, but merely a front for the Globalists however you percieve them.

The merits of any form of free speech must be measured by their intent.

There are those among us who relish the notion of telling us what we can say, read and think. Mostly they have an agenda of social engineering and control and they are to be despised.

Waffler as usual is stuck like glue to his deity, the Government. When they push too far Waffler, you'll see what the guns are for, and that time is approaching.

J Carlton, Calgary

Dick, just consider that those same big cities typically have gun bans and the answer might just pop right out at you :)

Hey Waffler, ever heard of the War of Independence? Oh yeah, you seem to think the colonists could have "voted" tyranny off of the continent.

J Carlton, Calgary

Marie, I guess then they would just have to stab them, or beat them with a bat, or run them over...the choices are endless really... Murder is a crime and more laws aren`t going to change that.

PS Waffler, this particular nut job had an Obama sticker on his car.

J Carlton, Calgary

Waffler, as usual using a genuine nut job to make your point serves only to make your words all the more pathetic. You really are a hysterical individual.

Historically speaking, anytime we have seen a government disarm its people it has been followed up with a genocide. Nazi Germany, the Ukraine, Rwanda, Uganda, Cambodia....Our governments have no legitimate business disarming us or engaging in social engineering. None.

Florida was the first to implement conceal carry laws and their crime rate plummeted 50% in the first 3 years. Meanwhile the cities with handgun bans still have the highest crime rate...go figure.

As usual Reston's wild imagination is full of it. The right keep and bear arms and the purposes for doing so are as clear as the morning sun. And the reasons are, if anything, more valid today than they have been since 1776. Only someone who worships Big Brother could think otherwise.

The vast majority of "laws" we are subject to are in place as a matter of control, not justice. Here in Canada the courts would have you believe that the right to self defense has been abolished, it has not. But you will be prosecuted for defending your own life in your own home...The Law is an Ass.

In a general sense we now have neither liberty nor learning. This trend must be reversed.

J Carlton, Calgary

In a state of Liberty all should be moderated by a system of justice.

Mike, glad we are on the same page.

That each of us is an individual, therefore different is a given. What a bland and miserable world the communist progressives want to inflict on us.

J Carlton, Calgary

Brilliant thinker. Not sure what he meant here though.

Publius, who will watch the people who are telling us that we are in danger? How is it that we are to trust our own leaders not to have an agenda that we don't agree with? I don't think pre-emtion is the answer. But an ability to retaliate massively and decisively should be a pretty serious deterrent.

Poor Waffler...he thinks just because the PC Cops aren't here yet that they aren't coming. Is that because he has not noticed the growing incursion of laws of control and government in general into our daily activities, banking, taxation and on and on...or because he is quite simply a communist at heart and refuses to acknowledge the "obvious events" taking place all around us? Hmmmmm

Also from this "illustrious" President - "The Constitution is just a damned piece of paper" - What F. Jones my not be taking into account is that by running rough shod over people in foreign nations, setting up friendly dictatorships and manipulating their economies all in the name of "American Interests" we have earned the enmity of the planet. Time we went back to Constitutional American values. Time to haul in our horns and bring our troops home. The world can look after itself for a while.
