But what is it when government claims an ever increasing portion of your hard work to give to others? I call it theft. They call it taxes. The Constitution says there are direct and indirect taxes. Which one is income tax? Ask the IRS but you'll never get an answer.

Politicians throw up numerous shadows, hoping we will believe they have substance. Such are people like John Kerry, Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Chuck Schumer, Barbara Boxer and Diane Feinstein. People need to examine what is said, to touch what is put up, to see if it has substance. If their statements have no substance, like Clinton's "We can't be so fixated on our desire to preserve the rights of ordinary Americans" ... don't vote for them.

Reston ... if people are short of food, water, shelter or other basics, they should work for them or request charity. I'm tired of government giving the "basics" to those on welfare who are simply too lazy to work. When government provides the basics, people often have more and nicer nonessentials (TVs, SUVs, clothes) than I can afford. It's nice if you choose to contribute to a charity, but government steals my money and gives it away to people who mostly don't need it. That is NOT liberty.

The Second Amendment is virtuous, yet criminals do bad things with arms.

Politicians should never vote for anything which removes a freedom or takes money of their voters.

Congress are the best paid, most powerful and most successful crooks known to man.

Follow the Constitution. A democracy becomes a "mobocracy." The U.S. is a Constitutionally Limited Federal REPUBLIC.

Statesmen are elected to follow his fervent supporters. But once in office, he does what he wants, irrespective of his supporters.

Politics is the art of stealing from the people to make things possible.

That's our government. Find some weakling to beat up. Others not as weak didn't speak up. Now they beat most of us daily. A few they beat to a pulp as an example to the rest.

Since before 1900 American history has become one long struggle to remove the liberties in our Constitution from everyone but the elite. My favorite example is gun control, limiting my ability to own guns, the opposite of Second Amendment. If the rich and powerful have the right to the protection of machineguns ... so do I.

Action like giving food and money to governments? Those in power will not starve and will become rich. Action like attacking a government? We should not die for the freedom of another country. We should take care of ourselves, not interfere with other governments.

Anonymity will be increasingly difficult with the Real ID Act. The FBI/CIA/BATFE will arrest people for what they think, write and say. They will raise their attacks on the 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th and 8th Amendments.

To gain some insight on where our country is heading, I suggest "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand. It points out what legislative obstacles are doing to us.

Actually, they know pork all too well, both in their mouths and our pocketbooks.
