Do all you people have your head in the sand? The last thing America can be called is Socialist, Liberal, or Left. America is without doubt is a Narcissistic Oligarchic Fascist State.  After 250 years America has ended up with this cocktail, a cocktail which undoubtedly will be its demise. If only America did good around the world instead of destroying countries and killing millions of people, things may have been different. Alas, I believe we have gone to far down skid row to avoid a catastrophe. The whole dirty system of a fiat economy and its consequences of a corrupt society/government will implode.

In many instances the roads we take are chosen for us, we just decide which road we are on is best for us, and if we are lucky it's the right road — it's not a matter of our road being correct, or the right road. Some never experience the road of their dreams, but in their dreams the roads come alive...

Wrong on two points: government is neither socialism or religious. Now if you mean a socialism with regards to the US military (the biggest by far sucking on the socialist tit), and the giant companies who have tax exemptions; the banks who are bailed out on our tax dollars. The top welfare queens are the MIC, the Government and their minions, the banks and Wall Street, the giant corporations, and Israel. Other main American rackets are the insurance and medial industries, the biggest culprit of all is the federal Reserve. All these social welfare programs which the poor have no say in — you have no idea what a socialist program is unless you mean its for the few by the few. You obviously have not visited countries that have great socialist programs — my two hour ER visit to a French hospital was only $120 — my friends ER visit in Spain was a similar experience — people don't need cars as the public transport system are great. And in Bangkok the hospitals treat you like a hotel guest. American has a lot to learn about looking after its people not just the wealthy. 

Alas, you will not find it there — breaking free of tyrants and oppressive regimes has always been our bedfellow, and will remain so to the end of time. We are our own saviors — our imagination keeps us from becoming totally enslaved; and the fight continues...

Well said Dick — we are controlled by a military/oligarchy — a few by the few for the few... (Lincoln) The few don't give a $*&% for the few, they are greedy and only have self interest and dominance as their driving force — hence the tying of the Wheat....

The shackles that bind us and make us slaves are relative— subjective  — none of us are truly FREE — one mans freedom is another mans prison. God has nothing to do with it, neither does any man made religion. 
Freedom: Being totally without physical or mental constraints and the need to contrive to exist. But even then are we truly free of our questions, our desires, our thoughts. So, what is it to be FREE — it doesn't exist, period.... there is never something for nothing!
A Guru sitting on top of a mountain in total sublimity — is he free? no, otherwise he wouldn't be sitting on to of a mountain.
The nearest thing to total Freedom, one with the cosmos, is taken back by our need for kindness and humility — like the call of one in need, we are hooked.... that’s our nature!

Oh the silence is so deafening... 

We must recalibrate our day-to-day mission to survive; we must put in place instruments that will overcome our servitude — not just provide comfortable rhetoric for our friends. We must wake from our slumber of indifference, from our apathy, from our lack of action — it's deeds we now want. Enough of religion and words — we are in a continual life of war, suffering, hunger, and fear, yet how do we effect change? how do we stop this runaway train with all our hopes and loved ones onboard from total destruction? We need heroes to come forward and show us the way; we need the candlestick maker to put down his apron and take on the power within us all. 

The founding father's were mostly Liberals — it's so sad how we have all been hoodwinked by propaganda and how we today demonize a word that historically has always been about fairness. The current political system has ruined the true meaning of Liberal — I wonder what next word will be made dirty.... In the meantime I suggest you all look up the Oxford Dictionary definition "Liberalism" Well, to save you the time here it is:
‘one of the basic tenets of liberalism is tolerance’
'Willing to respect or accept behavior or opinions different from one's own; open to new ideas'
'Favorable to or respectful of individual rights and freedoms'
I think there have been liberal amounts demonizing the word Liberal.

To have one government means you have no voice whatsoever. You will have no rights and no say in how you live your life. This is why the US and it's western allies want war with Russia - we must keep two or more separate entities. This is why Israel too wants war with Syria and Iran. WWIII would also wipe out debt and reduce the population, that is of course if there's a world left over....

The more centralization you have the more you are controlled and become a slave to the system. UN, CFR, NWO, EU, etc., etc. And who is in charge of these organization's - well, what's happening is they are all being consolidated into one giant indivisible secret club of which you are not a member. The motive is not the well being of those they are meant to be responsible for but those who sit behind the curtain. Individual and national Sovereignty will be a thing of the past - it will become global sovereignty - you will be made to become a member of this one order. This order realizes that our tiny little planet we call home cannot survive with a population that is out of control gobbling up all the resources. This why Russia is being earmarked for a take over as they have more resources by far than any other country. We are being killed by Wars, GMO's, Chem trails, injections, etc., etc. and by the very food we eat. Suddenly the mortality rate is in reverse. All this while club members enslave the masses and get power and wealth. All this will not matter if America goes to war with Russia. It will all go back to zero. Even those who have fled to new Zealand will not be saved from such an occasion. Our sovereignty is being attacked by unknown forces - we are at the tipping point. If we remain silent then the club will have its way and all will be lost. So, live well, live and be happy and remember, they can never take away your love.

Yes There Is a Constitutional Separation of Church and State

Perhaps nothing is more important to American politics than a well-reasoned debate. Unfortunately, far too many people are ill-informed to make such discussions possible.
An excellent example of this comes from the responses to an article I wrote examining the concerns of conservative Christians over Tennessee schools’ teaching the five pillars of Islam. While there were a number of topics that readers could have discussed, by far the most outrage centered on my statements regarding the separation of church and state. Comments included “Clearly, someone hasn’t read the Constitution, because there is no such thing as “separation of church and state” in the US Constitution.” “Where exactly in the U.S. Constitution does it address “separation of church and state?” and “Simply put, nowhere in the First Amendment does the phrase ‘separation of church and state’ exist.”
It seems that to some people, if the words don’t explicitly appear in the constitution then the idea they refer to isn’t constitutionally guaranteed. Viewing it in these simplistic terms is meant to dismiss the entire argument; as if every decision based on the separation of church and state is somehow invalid because the term separation of church and state doesn’t appear in the constitution.
Of course the problems with this assertion are many. First and most basic is the fact that the Supreme Court is the ultimate interpreter of federal constitutional law. This means that while the term “separation of Church and State” may never appear in the constitution itself, the Court ruling in the case of Everson v. Board of Education stated “the clause against establishment of religion by law was intended to erect ‘a wall of separation between Church and State.’”
A quarter century later, the case of Lemon v. Kurtzman further defined this separation when it established the Lemon Test to determine if a law violates the establishment clause of the First Amendment. Every ruling since has confirmed that, in the view of the highest court in the land the Constitution created a separation of church and state.
Having said that, the separation of church and state is hardly the first unwritten concept that is protected by the constitution. In the 1973 case of Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court established a women’s constitutional right to have an abortion despite the word abortion never appearing in the constitution. In the 2015 case of Obergefell v. Hodges the Supreme Court established that laws against same sex marriage were unconstitutional despite the word marriage never appearing in the constitution. In the 1963 case of Gideon v. Wainwright the Supreme Court established that the constitution guarantees the right to an attorney despite the words public defender never appearing in the constitution. In the 2010 case of McDonald v. Chicago the Supreme Court established that the second amendment right to bear arms included the right to bear arms for self-defense despite the words self-defense never appearing in the constitution.
It should also be noted that of the 112 Supreme Court Justices, none of them has been an atheist. In fact 92 pecent of them were Christian. What rationale would these justices have for making laws that would create a legal prejudice towards their system of beliefs, especially if the separation of Church and State is a misinterpretation?
The reality is that the constitution was never meant to be a stagnant document that was rigidly adherent to the words on the page. As Thomas Jefferson said “The constitution, on this hypothesis, is a mere thing of wax in the hands of the judiciary, which they may twist, and shape into any form they please.” Over the past 200 years the Supreme Court has shaped the constitution to contain a clear separation of church and state that protects every religion equally. If only those who argue against this separation could see how they benefit from it instead of inappropriately interpreting it as an attack on Christianity.
