The sane usually avoid politics as evidenced by the people running the country today.

I agree there, Jim, I don't involve myself in any form of politics, except when it comes to voting. I am not ignorant of what's going on in the word, I just try not to dwell on it too much or I get angry.

If the 'sane' do not take a more active responsibility in keeping their servant government chained to the Constitution, the insanity will continue.

Sane men will surely be drawn by power and money to an enterprise. It is a natural thing for a man to want to be rich or powerful. In the case of government it is the mixing of the two that has been so destructive. The office of the president has always been one of great power. But the presidency was never so lucrative in the Age of Statesmen.

Most of the people you work with are sane. But they are all hungry for power, in one form or another. If they get what they want, they always want more. Hence, Power corrupts. The sane can be.
