Hum, I'm tempted to agree w/ this one... only because King George W so clearly does not believe in the ideology of the US (as Mike listed), and therefore he'd have to go! ;-)

It is even more on the brink when POTUS (in this case King George W) violates all three...

I fear that he speaks of the owning of things... and of the owning of people... when he should be speaking of the owning of ideas!

Landholders should understand they wouldn't be the minority opulent if it were not for the majority they so often take advantage of... and today it is via the government that they already control that they often accieve this too.

Confusion in the public mind over complex issues is not the result of a lack of censorship, but rather of a public which has recieved insufficient education to be able to make sense out of the complexities of the data they are presented. The world is simple when you present them with nothing but a simplified map to the world (as so many of the Radical Religious Right are want to do, and as King George W and Jester Dick are doing to us now).

There is a material difference between our cramming our forms of coruption down their throats and helping depressed and exploited people to lift themselves up by the boot straps. We are capable of offering compasionate help without becoming a 21st century robber baron to them. This is not the black and white issue that so many make it out to be, the world is full of shades of gray (and splashes of many colors too ;-).

Children, yes... like the war that King George W and his hench men run... but this gets a vote down 'cause this sicko isn't talking about children here. Hey, no one WANTS an abortion... but sometimes it IS the right choice... far better that choice than a life of hell on earth.

Think of the censorship that the Catholic Church has repeatedly inflicted upon the world and their attempts to control all aspects of their flock's lives... think of the censorship of America's Taliban...

Neither Darwin nor advocates of natural selection promote any sort of "religious dogma", rather that religated to those who prefer belief systems over rational investigation and general scientific approaches... and those that don't understand this are doomed to live in the dark ages... too bad they piggy back taking advantage of scientific advances while crying about how evil they are...

I attended government schools, and don't believe all it does is good or right... but I am far more wary of the radical religious right (yup, and I was raised a "good church goin' kid", head of my youth group and all)... and far far more wary of the crazy folks that are teaching their children at home... yup, teaching them hate and bigotry and narrow mindedness and all sorts of "good christian family values"... yeah... right...

So many in the world do not understand the difference between marketing and sales...
